Quick nail-update!

Helloooo! Tomorrow I have to go back to school (blah) and I wanted to do a quick nail update to show you what polish I'll be wearing :D

Soooo, on my nails I have two coats of Essence - Irreplaceable. I'm not sure if this one is still available (in the new bottles) but I don't think so... If you're lucky it's still on sale and you'll be able to get this pretty polish! Whenever I have no idea what to do with my nails and it can't be too flashy or anything, I apply this polish! (And it matches my outfit for tomorrow :D)

What polish are you wearing right now?

Kiko - 360 Strawberry Pink + Kitty Update #7

Hello everyoooone! Sorry it's been a while since I posted, I had a really fun week and wasn't home a lot to paint my nails and post. Anyways, today I have a very pretty polish I bought in Italy to show you: Kiko - Strawberry Pink. I used 3 coats, no topcoat.
daylight, no flash.

sun from the side, no flash.

double-kittypic, woaaaah!

Though I am not the biggest fan of pink polishes, I really like this colour. It's cute and really summery! Application was good, drying time mweh. I think a lot of girls would like this polish because it's a pink..but it's not particularly a bright, neon pink. I think I'll be applying this to my toenails's really pretty!

So, on to the kitty's been a while huh? They have grown...too much. They are becoming real cats! The relationship between the kitties and Luna is getting better and better everyday: in the beginning Luna would growl at them and slap them in the face, and now she casually sniffs them and only slaps them when they are annoying, haha! On to the pictures..

Mila nuzzling my hand, nawww!

When I'm on my computer, the kitties like to lie down behind the screen and sleep or watch me type. It's adorable..

The two of them behind my computerscreen, isn't it cute?

Essence new polishes: Cookie Love + Nude Glam Cookies & Cream

Hey everyooone! Today I will be showing you two Essence polishes from their new collection. Both named something with cookie! Let's begin with Cookie Love from the Colour & Go collection. I used two coats and no topcoat.
indirect sunlight, no flash.

daylight, no sun, no flash.

close-up from the bottle..isn't that purrrretty?

Cookie Love is a gorgeous brown polish with small golden glitters and some golden flakies :D The flakies are not that visible on your nails, but when you look really closely you'll see some. Formula was great on this one, applying was good and drying time was only 10 minutes.

So here's the next one, Cookies & Cream from the Nude Glam collection. I used 3 coats and one layer of topcoat.
shade, no flash.

indirect sunlight, no flash.

outside, sunlight, no flash! (most colour accurate)

close-up, shimmers!

more kittypics!

The colour is pretty much the same as Hazelnut Cream Pie, but HCP has that Chanel - Paradoxal purple shimmer and C&C has golden and silver shimmer. I didn't particularly like the formula on this one, I had to apply 3 coats and a topcoat because it tends to get a little bubbly.

Wich one do you like better, Hazelnut Cream Pie or Cookies & Cream?

Fly the Hologram Sky

Hello everyone! In my last post I showed you the polishes I bought in Italy, and today I made a little combo with two of them. First I applied 3 coats of Deborah Milano - Fly High, then 2 coats of Shaka - Hologram Sky.
sunlight, no flash.

sunlight, no flash.

sunlight, with flash.

shade, no flash.

close-up in sunlight, no flash.

Isn't that amazing? The holographic effect is soooo bright, but ofcourse not quite a bright as GOSH - Holographic! I am loving this combo.
Here's a little pic of Fly High on it's own:
daylight, no flash.

This combo worked out great imo, the colours work perfect together. Shaka - Hologram Sky is really sheer and not that holographic when you apply it over your nude nails, but with a bright basecolour..KABOOM!
Today I found the new Essence bottles in my local drugstore and bought 2 of them, I simply couldn't resist buying these:
06 cookies & cream (from the nude glam collection) and 120 cookie love (colour & go)

See how I stayed in the cookietheme there? LOL!

I'm back from Italy! (Warning: loads of pictures)

Hello everyoneeee! Friday night we got home from our summervacation to Italy, and I'm so happy we're home again :) I missed the kitties soooo much... They've grown a lot over the past 3 weeks, but ofcourse they're still little kittens and reaaaally cute. Here are some pictures:

So, on to my vacation pictures!
First we went to Milan...
Duomo Santa Maria Nascente!

this is a sign we saw in a little bakery where we had some delicious cupcakes. Cute, right?

Then we went to Piano Di Mommio, a little village near Viareggio. This was our campsite:
our two tents!

the swimming pool ♥

me and my cousins nails. I had Better Late Than Never by Essence on my nails and I painted her nails with Herôme - New Delhi!

Here are the pictures I made that week:
Torre Del Lago Puccini

pretty flowers!

the Tower of Pisa

Duomo Di San Martino in Lucca

me and my little sister in Lucca

this is the Giotto Bell Tower we climbed in Florence/Firenze, and this was the view:

purrretty huh?

my cousins, me and my sister dressed for dinner :)

The last week we went to Elba, an island near the coast of Italy. Elba is gorgeous!
Capo Bianco, near Portoferraio

I don't know where this is on Elba..but it is pretty!

Marina Di Campo, where we stayed on a campsite that week.

on a banana boat with other dutch people!

the group of friends we made that week :D

It was so great! Elba is soooo pretty, we snorkeled a lot and I had a lot of fun. Ofcourse we also shopped a lot in Italy...and I couldn't resist buying these 7 polishes:

Kiko 389 Mint Milk and 360 Strawberry Red
I'm not sure if the left one is Mint Milk, because the number is swept away or something...

this is a really cheap golden glitter polish I bought on a market in Pisa

Deborah - Fly High and Deborah - Good Luck Green

holographiiiiiiics! Shaka - Hologram Nude and Shaka - Hologram Sky

I am so happy I found those last polishes in a store called OVS/oviesse, they were only 2 euros :o
I bought one more polish, but that is still a surprise... Ofcourse I also bought some clothing, but I don't have any pictures of that to show you, sorry!
How was your summervacation?
